- Formulas are case sensitive: Co is cobalt and CO is carbon monoxide
- Do not worry about subscripts or superscrips in formulae: H2O not H2O, and NH4+ not NH4+
- Problems are plucked at random from a database, and there is always the chance that the same question will be asked twice in succession...
